Hardcover. Condición: Very Good Plus. No Jacket. 1st Edition. First edition, "Copyright 1910, Detroit School of Lettering, Detroit, Mich." to the title page. Oblong format. Very gently read. Page numbers appear to be hand written in fountain pen. Previous owner's neat name and address and two tiny ink droplets to the ffep. Odd f…inger smudge and light soling to show, otherwise the interior is clean and free of any writing. Last two pages have neatly pulled away just at the staples at the spine but are still firmly attached. Black leatherette boards (hardcover) are lightly bumped and rubbed to extremities, minor shelfwear to show. 1.5cm x 1cm dark stain near the fore-edge of the front board. Bright gilt titles over a blindstamped "label" to the upper front board. Fabulous assortment of colour and B & W illustrations regarding scrolls, panels, air brush design, letter head, book covers, nine new alphabets, etc. etc. The senior Strong founded the Detroit School of Lettering. By the Author (ilustrador).
