Pragmatische Faktoren, beschreiben. Ei…ne bedeutende Rolle kommt dabei dem Text zu, der nicht mehr als eine Folge grammatisch verknüpfter Sätze, sondern als Ergebnis konkreter Kommunikationsprozesse gesehen wird.Die vorliegende Studie analysiert deutschsprachige Urkunden, die in den Jahren 1415-1548 in der Olmützer Stadtkanzlei (Olomouc/Tschechien) ausgestellt wurden. Die Olmützer Schriftstücke, an deren Entstehung zwölf Schreiber beteiligt waren, sind in acht verschiedene Textsorten zu differenzieren. (Kaufvertrag, Verpflichtung, Vidimus, Schiedsspruch, Bestätigung u.a.), deren Formulierungsmuster in der Arbeit dargestellt werden.Die Arbeit bringt Ergebnisse einer aktuellen textlinguistischen und graphemischen Untersuchung frühneuhochdeutscher Texte und liefert weitere Fakten für die Geschichte der deutschen Sprache in einem Gebiet, dessen Lage am Schnittpunkt zwischen dem ostmitteldeutschen und dem ostoberdeutschen Sprachraum eine besondere Rolle spielte. Die Textanalyse eröffnet dabei im Vergleich zu den älteren historiolinguistischen Methoden einen breiteren Einblick in die Entwicklung der Sprache, indem sie Vermittlungsinstanzen zwischen sozialen und sprachlich-internen Gegebenheiten aufzudecken versucht.
