Rebound in dark olive buckram cloth (1940s/50s?) with new endpapers and flyleaves; obtrusive surface abrasion to spine cloth with discolored patches evidencing missing title and date labels; edge-chipped ownership sticker "Americana Library | Lucius Bryan Dabney | 'Belmont'" affixed near spine heel; boards abraded at edges with front board having additional patches at top half. Foxing/toning and small stains to text block edges; old blue ink blots mar top edge with shallow overlap at head of fore-edge - these ink stains shallowly penetrate page margins too. Some stains and foxing/toning to interior leaves as well. Bookplate of Lucius Bryan Dabney on front pastedown.
