Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Good Dust Jacket. 1st Edition. FFT 039355 This collection of Fairy Tales, selected by The Institute Of Character Research is in a clean and tight orange hardback. Blue and white endpapers are illustrated by Henry Pitz. There is a color frontispiece and two other color plates by Harold Schell inside plus a variety of full page black and white by him and Pitz as well as small illustrations at the start of each tale. Dust jacket, which appears to me to be by Pitz is sunned to spine, chipped especially along folds and spine and missing some material along bottom front but still is attractive gold, red, tan and blue illustration. Previous owner, a youngster, wrote his name, in pen, on inside front flap of dj. Looks good in Brodart cover we have applied. Henry Pitz did endpapers, perhaps cover and some illustrations. Harold Schell did many interiori illustrations (ilustrador).…

Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - 'Studies in the Nature of Character' is a landmark empirical investigation into the development of moral behavior and personality in children. Conducted by researchers Hugh Hartshorne, Mark A. May, and Frank K. Shuttleworth, this work remains a foundational text in the fields of educational psychology and sociology. The study systematically explores the complex relationship between environmental factors, social influences, and the manifestation of traits such as honesty, self-control, and service.Through rigorous testing and data analysis, the authors challenge conventional notions of character as a fixed entity, instead presenting it as a dynamic set of responses shaped by specific situations. This work is essential for readers interested in the history of psychology, moral philosophy, and the scientific study of ethics. It provides deep insights into how character is measured and understood, making it a vital resource for educators and social scientists seeking to understand the roots of human conduct and the effectiveness of moral education. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it. This work was reproduced from the original artifact, and remains as true to the original work as possible. Therefore, you may see the original copyright references, library stamps (as most of these works have been housed in our most important libraries around the world), and other notations in the work. This work is in the public domain in the United States of America, and possibly other nations. Within the United States, you may freely copy and distribute this work, as no entity (individual or corporate) has a copyright on the body of the work.As a reproduction of a historical artifact, this work may contain missing or blurred pages, poor pictures, errant marks, etc. Scholars believe, and we concur, that this work is important enough to be preserved, reproduced, and made generally available to the public.
