Black cloth covers, bumped at the spine and corners with some light speckling to front and rear panel. Internally clean and sound, though the front free endpaper has been excised and there is some heavy foxing to early and latter pages and very light scattered foxing elsewhere. The portrait frontis has been defaced but text and the other plates are clean. A decent reference-copy of this rare early-aviation title.
