Añadir al carritoCondición: Good. - An 8 inch high by 10-1/8 inch wide glossy black & white vintage photograph depicting the Hollywood movie actress Vivienne Segal, reclined on a couch in the arms of Walter Pidgeon. Pidgeon, in his role as Colonel Vultow, is attired in a period European dress uniform, while Segal's long white fur-collared dress drapes down to the floor. The number "195-513" is printed in white at bottom right of the image and the credits reading "'Bride of the Regiment' - A First National & Vitaphone Picture" are printed along the bottom margin. There are creases and pinholes to the corners with a tiny chip out from the bottom left corner. Good. This a RARE vintage publicity still from the lost notorious pre-code musical. It is not a reproduction. The Hollywood movie actress Vivienne Segal played the role of Countess Anna-Marie in "Bride of the Regiment". The film is set in 1830, as the Italian provinces governed by Austria are revolting. Countess Anna-Marie has recently married the leader of the Italian revolutionary forces Count Adrian Beltrami. The Austrian cavalry officer Count Vultow who has been charged with capturing Beltrami falls in love with Anna-Marie.The film's risque humor brought censorship problems upon it. Censors ruled that it could be shown as an adults only feature.
