Exterior shows edge and corner bumping/wear as well as spotting and stains. Front board has lifting of the cloth in the upper left corner, possibly from moisture. Spine also has residue of the paper label present. Dark pink end pages and front and rear, front pastedown also has a label present with a number on it, appears to be from a private library numbering system. No other handwriting noted. Pages are toned and foxing is present throughout but binding is good, no cracks, no torn or loose pages. Staining present on page exterior top and fore edges with spotting continuing in on some of the pages. No author listed though title of Stories for Village Lads has been accredited to G. E. Sargent, specifically one of the stories entitled A Day At The Fair - which is located in this copy at page 41.…
