Condición: Very good. - Letter filling one side of his 10-3/8 inch high by 7-1/4 inch wide personalized letterhead with a Fidelity Building address printed at the top. Signed "Harold E. Stassen". Together with a 14-page copy of Stassen's "Statement to the Resolutions Committee" to be presented at the Republican National Convention in Miami on July 29th. Also present is a carbon copy of Agnew's reply. Agnew has penciled "Art" [Art Sohmer, his Chief-of Staff] in the top right corner of the letter. Below Stassen's letter Agnew has penciled notes indicating how he wants the letter to be answered. On the verso is an official stamp showing the date the letter was received. Folded twice for mailing. The bottom left corners of the statement pages are creased. The 3 items were once stapled together at top left. Very good. Stassen congratulates Agnew on his Chairmanship of the Maryland delegation to the Republican National Convention in Miami. He sends Agnew a copy of the statement Staasen is to present to the Resolutions Committee at the Convention on July 29th in case Agnew might want to refer to it.
