Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - AFTER RECEIVING ITS ORIGINAL COPYRIGHT IN 2002 IT HAD BEEN SUDDENLY DISCOVERED THAT THIS WAS THE VERY FIRST BOOK IN ENGLISH LITERATURE THAT DESCRIBED THE ENTIRE LIFE OF JESUS OF NAZARETH IN A POETICAL LANGUAGE OF A CONTEMPORARY SONNET. SINCE ITS INCEPTION WITH SHAKESPEARE AND THE XVITH CENTURY RENAISSANCE ERA THERE HAS BEEN NO WORK OF THIS CATEGORY IN THE HISTORY OF ENGLISH POETRY. OF COURSE, THERE ARE MANY POEMS DEDICATED TO THE PLETHORA OF TOPICS/EVENTS DESCRIBED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT (E.G. ANNUNCIATION, NATIVITY, RESURRECTION ETC.) BUT SO FAR THERE HASN'T BEEN A 'SONNETICAL' POETRY COLLECTION PRODUCED BY JUST ONE AUTHOR THAT COHESIVELY PORTRAYED THE ENTIRE LIFE OF CHRIST. CONVERSELY, THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF WORKS IN THE LIBRARIES AROUND THE WORLD DEDICATED TO THE LIFE OF JESUS, BUT THEY ARE ALL WRITTEN IN A LANGUAGE OF PROSE. WHAT FOLLOWS ON THE PAGES OF THIS BOOK IS NOT NECESSARILY THE PRODUCT OF A ONE FIXED DENOMINATIONAL PREFERENCE BUT IT COULD BE ALSO VIEWED AS THE WORK OF ART. AS WE KNOW IT, JESUS FROM NAZARETH, REGARDLESS OF THE RELIGIOUS OR PHILOSOPHICAL ORIENTATION, IS ONE OF THE MOST FASCINATING FIGURES OF ALL TIME. IN PAST CENTURIES, MANY ARTISTS FOCUSED THEIR MOST CREATIVE EFFORTS ON UNCOVERING THE UNIQUENESS OF JESUS' LIFE. THE MUSEUMS AROUND THE WORLD ARE FULL OF BIBLICAL ICONOGRAPHY THAT HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TIMELESS AND TIMELY. FROM THE LOUVRE OF PARIS TO THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART, FROM THE BRITISH MUSEUM TO THE VATICAN MUSEUMS WE CAN NOTICE THAT THE MOST OUTSTANDING PURSUITS OF HUMAN SPIRIT IN THE REALM OF ART ARE FOUND ON BIBLICAL THEMES. THIS BOOK WAS INSPIRED ON THE TECHNICAL SIDE BY THE PROLIFIC VIRTUOSITY OF LEONARDO DA VINCI, MICHELANGELO AND MANY OTHER RENAISSANCE AND BAROQUE MASTERS WHO CREATED THE IMMORTAL BIBLICAL REMEMBRANCES. THESE WORKS OF ART HAVE ALWAYS HAD THE INFINITE SPIRITUAL, CULTURAL, AND MONETARY VALUE. BY THE SAME TOKEN, THE POETRY FROM THE ANCIENT TIMES HAS BEEN CONSIDERED TO BE ONE OF THE MOST PROMINENT FORMS OF ART. WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE HAS BEEN UNDOUBTEDLY ONE OF THE MOST INNOVATIVE POETICAL GENIUSES OF HUMANKIND. SHAKESPEARE'S GRANDEUR STREAMS FROM THE FACT THAT HE IS THE MOST WIDELY PUBLISHED AUTHOR IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF ALL ENGLISH WRITINGS. HE HAS LEFT US THE MOST ACCOMPLISHED RULES OF A DRAMA AND SONNET STRUCTURE. AS WE BROWSE THROUGH THE VOLUMES OF THE CENTURIES PAST, IT SEEMS THAT SO FAR THERE HAS BEEN NO WORK IN ENGLISH CLASSICAL LITERATURE THAT PORTRAYED THE LIFE OF CHRIST USING THE POETICAL MEANS OF A SONNET. THIS BOOK PIONEERS IN THIS REGARD AND TRIES TO FILL THAT 'POETICAL VACUUM.' THE 'READER'S MANUSCRIPT' HAS SEVERAL VERSIONS: ORIGINAL AND INTERNATIONAL, ABRIDGED AND UNABRIDGED, CONTEMPORARY AND TRADITIONAL. THE ORIGINAL VERSION IS DESIGNED FOR THE POETRY ENTHUSIASTS AND PHILOLOGISTS. ENTITLED 'THE PASSION FLOWER,' IT REFLECTS MORE AUTHENTICALLY AUTHOR'S LINGUISTIC AND ARTISTIC INCLINATIONS. IT DEFINES THE LINE OF WORDS MORE AS THE INSTRUMENT AND MELODY THAN THE TRADITIONAL RESULT OF SEMANTIC CONNOTATIONS. THE SECOND VERSION CALLED 'THE INTERNATIONAL VERSION' STRESSES THE SIMPLICITY OF EXPRESSION AND CONTAINS MORE POPULAR PHRASEOLOGY OF TODAY. THIS IS THE THIRD EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL VERSION.…

Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - After receiving its original copyright in 2002 it was suddenly discovered that this was the very first book in English literature that describes the entire life of Jesus of Nazareth in a poetical language of a sonnet. Since its inception with Shakespeare and the XVIth century Renaissance era there has been no work of that category in the history English poetry. Of course, there are many poems dedicated to some events described in the New Testament (e.g. Nativity, Resurrection, etc.) but so far there hasn't been a sonnetical poetry collection produced by just one author that cohesively focuses on the entire life of Christ. There are thousands of works in the libraries around the world dedicated to the life of Jesus, but they are all written in a language of prose. What follows on the pages of this book is not necessarily the product of a one fixed denominational preference but it should be rather viewed as the work of art. As we know Jesus from Nazareth, regardless of religious or philosophical orientation, is the most fascinating figure of all times. Especially in the centuries of the past there were many artists that focused their most creative efforts on uncovering the uniqueness of Jesus' life. The greatest masterpieces of the Western art belong to that category. The museums around the world are full of biblical art that has been always timeless and timely no matter the world view. That''s why next to poems author placed the black and white pictures that are masterpieces of the Western art. That enhances better the idea that the language of art is universal and also better illustrates the point of intrinsic art interconnectivity. This work has several versions: Original and International, abridged and unabridged. The first one is designed for the poetry enthusiasts and philologists, the Original Version. It reflects more authentically the author''s linguistic and artistic inclinations. The second one called the International Version intends the.…
