Giano Nicio Eritreo, (15771647) was an Italian poet, philologist, and historian. This seventeenth-century full-vellum volume contains Rossi's "Iani Nicii Erythraei Documenta Sacra" as well as "Iani Nicii Erythraei Opuscula Spiritualia Tria" (1648) and "Homiliae" (1649) bound into the volume. The work contains engraved portraits, vignettes, and page ornaments. Three title pages. Full-vellum sammelband is solidly bound with raised bands and stamped gilt lettering on the spine. There is moderate external age/wear. The pages and engravings show mild toning and scattered light marginal foxing. A very nice copy of these three works.

Der im Buch fehlende Porträtstich wurde durch eine Kopie auf altem Papier ersetzt. Auf der Titelei wurde das Pseudonym von alter Hand nicht ganz richtig aufgelöst "Johannis Victoris Roscii".
