Mixed Media Product. Condición: New. These new resources have been written for the new 9-1 grading scale, with progression, international relevance and support at their core. The new 9-1 grading scale ensures a consistent international standard of qualification. The increase in levels of grading allows learners to achieve their full potential and make more informed decisions about their options for progression.  A fully integrated Progression Map tool allows quick and easy formative assessment of student progress, linked to guidance on tailored learning solutions, helping students make the best progress they can. The embedded transferrable skills that are needed for progression into higher education and employment, are explicitly signposted allowing students to understand, and engage with, the skills they're gaining. Online teacher support will save you valuable time when planning, teaching and assessing.  Each Student Book provides access to an ActiveBook, a digital version of the Student's Book, which can be accessed online, anytime, anywhere supporting learning beyond the classroom.  Specifically developed for International learners, with appropriate international content, making it engaging and relevant for all learners and allowing for learning in a local context, to a global standard.  EAL-focused content, checked by an EAL specialist, addresses the needs of EAL students with carefully graded writing to B2/C1 level (CEFR) and a glossary provided of specialist vocabulary.

Full title - THE PRACTICAL BOOK OF ITALIAN, SPANISH, AND PORTUGUESE FURNITURE BY HAROLD DONALDSON EBERLEIN AND ROGER WEARNE RAMSDELL WITH FRONTISPIECE IN COLOUR 316 ILLUSTRATIONS IN DOUBLETONE AND 57 IN LINE. First edition (as stated upon copyright page). [6], 254 pages plus 144 full page plates. Hardcover: H 22.75cm x L 17cm. No dust jacket (i.e. lacking). Dark tan cloth mildly soiled; fraying at spine ends; oval shaped white stain below spine center with red title lettering near head dulled but legible; front board's red lettering still bright; some shelf scuffing along bottom board edges. Gilt top edge; deckle fore-edge and bottom edge. Foxing and toning usually strongest on pages adjacent to plates with occasional other light occurrences; scattered light soiling too; several rear leaves with shallow light stains at top spine corners. Binding has a few slight stress points as typical with Lippincott books of this era but, overall, remains firm. Three-line black ink stamp on front pastedown: "Return to | Addison Mizner | Palm Beach, Fla." Slender rectangular aquamarine bookseller ticket with white lettering and border ("Brentano's | Booksellers & Stationers | New York") discreetly affixed at rear pastedown's bottom left corner. A very good- copy. Interesting association copy as book was evidently owned by famed Palm Beach architect Addison Cairns Mizner (1872-1933) whose Mediterranean Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival designs influenced development throughout southern Florida and, in particular, Mizner's development of Boca Raton, Florida. Please note that this book has an approximate shipping weight of 3.75 pounds (1.7 kg) and will require additional postage for any postal class other than domestic Media Mail.
