Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Very Good. 1901 childrens' hardback, contains 34 fairy stories, with 150 illustrations by Charles Robinson. In it he demonstrates his excellence as a book designer, some are simple line illustrations, full page plates, Story start pages with border decorations, but what I particularly like is the way he will make the text follow the illustrations' shape, somewhat ahead of his time for graphic layout. Note that several images are politically incorrect by todays' standards (notably in Unanana and the Elephant). Owner's inscription dated 1901 in the "this book belongs to" . Small pencil writing to top of Illustrations page, a pencil doodle to page 81 and a couple of corner folds. Rear end page detached. Seams intact and hinges strong, all pages tight in binding, covers clean and unscuffed, spine edges rubbed. Charles Robinson (ilustrador).…
