The preliminary pages, with an introduction by Mallet-Stevens and a list of plates is missing in Vol. 2 (at least a list of plates must have been issued), instead a set of the preliminaries of Vol. 1 are laid-in. Some fading and coloring to printed cover of Vol. 1, some coloring to cover of Vol. 2. Spine label somewhat perished, bumping to corners, but a very solid set Vol. 1: 50 plates in black and white [viii]. Vol. 2: 50 plates in black and white [viii]. 2 vols. 4to.
