Written by Robert Browning who has other golf titles to his credit. Several advertisements. As can be seen from an accompanying illustration, this copy was presented "With the compliments of B W Francis Ltd . . .". (B W Francis was evidently "a prominent historic silversmiths and jewellers" in Reading, and was "well-known for creating solid silver sports and golf trophies". In fair (arguably fair+) condition - a little bumping to corners; small mark towards bottom right corner on front cover; some foxing on end papers; a previous owner has asterisked some questions, fortunately in pencil; a few odd marks internally; a little binding weakness showing at a couple of places; a few light marks on rear cover.
