Where the book weighs more than 1 Kilo increased charges will be quoted. John George Bowran (1869-1946) used the name 'Ramsay Guthrie' as his pen name when he started publishing novels in 1899. He was a Primitive Methodist minister and lived all his life in the north-east of England. His books were full of gritty stories detailing the grinding poverty of miners, ship builders and other members of the working class, most were concerned with morality, redemption and religious fervor. This is just one of a number of other books by this author that I am selling on this site. Ref AAA3.
