Regions in South-east Asia have been proved to be the the most promising regions in the imrpovement of telemedicine (WHO Report, 2010). different telemedicine projects in the South Asia countries including India, Maldives, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal have been described in details for later comparison. The goal was to identify both the success and failure cases of telemedicine in the society and derive the elements that contributed towards it. Inclusion and exclusion criteria have been defined using the PICOS criteria to help replicate the research for future studies.
