It does not affect the binding at all and there is no other sign of moisture anywhere. Early ownership name of J. Stansbury Wallace on the blank back side of the frontispiece portrait, dated August 22, 1903. First and only edition, 1899. 192 pages. There is a copy of a 1909 newspaper notice about his death tucked inside the book. A scarce regimental history, with nice local association. Please email with questions or to request photos.
