Pittman, a resident of Monroe, Louisiana, is the author of three additional picture books and a collection of short stories with Pelican: Jim Limber Davis: A Black Orphan in the Confederate White House, Confederate Alphabet, Scottish Alphabet, and Stories of the Confederate South.
