Includes articles on a mission school started in Tobolsk, Siberia by a Swedish prisoner of war (Kurt Frederick von Wreech) , others on the woodcock, fires at tobacco product manufacturers, "The Building of the Canoe", apparently from "The Song of Hiawatha" by Longfellow, and a rather cheerful poem about child labor, "The Little Washwoman". Children's; religion; Christian; Victorian.
