The work is a very comprehensive study of the climatology, meteorolgy and hydrology of the British Isles generally, presented county by county though in some cases with both larger and smaller areas. Each section is written bydifferent authors and the aim is to provide a detailed study and reference to the varying climates found as well as the presence of the many medicinal springs. . . . . NOTE that as the volumes togetheer weigh some 2.5kg there may need to be a carriage supplement for both domestic and overseas orders.
