A very good copy for its age, except for water mark and a little damp spotting to front pastedown and fep, showing through a ittle onto front illus cover, which shows 3 girls picnicing on a river bank, making tea. Text block foxed, lightly bumped and rubbed corners. Dustjacket chipped with some light soiling and minor loss head of spine.

Some movement to boards, but binding holding, spine faded but title etc still legible, general blotchiness to boards, , though colour bright. Spine ends a bit frayed. Previous owner's name etc on end-paper, book is unpaginated, but previous owner has meticulously put in neat page numbers in pencil (also contents page). One line drawing neatly coloured in. Light foxing to edges of page block and a few places on margins. Heavy book, will require some extra postage (at cost) outside UK 11 full page colour plates (frontis, girls skating), checked as complete.
