This copy, a Reprint, likely the first and only German printing: No date, edition, printing or number line stated. Glossy boards, Square Octavo, with illustration on inside rear cover (p. 12) serving as front cover illustration within thin blue-green borders; blue green spine with black lettering; blue-green rear cover with instructions on how to "work" the Ernst Nister-designed features which define the book and gave it its original name in English, "Revolving Pictures". (This is essentially like opening and closing the shutter on a camera by using a movable tab at the foot of the "Picture" on the page, a poem by Walter Mahringer, facing each "revolving picture": "Die grosse Schau"; "Im Zirkus"; "Am Meer"; "Denk nach!"; "Sommer und Winter"; each "revolving picture" has a caption below it. There is some vertical surface/veneer ripples to front cover and small amount of waviness on inside front cover, which remind one of dampstaining, but it would appear that the effect is caused by imperfect artifact manufacture; NO discoloration of any sort and not intrusive upon reading. Strong binding (NO cracks); sharp (NO bumps or curls; miniscule veneer chip at top corners only and spine top corners only, else NO rubbing wear); NO previous owner names; Clean text.
