Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: VG-. Nicholas, Frank Ilustrador. First Edition First Printing. Book #4 in the 6-book YA series of Western adventures penned by Franklin Folsom under the pseudonym Troy Nesbit (not yet designated as the Troy Nesbit Mystery series or as the even later Wilderness Adventures series). Each features different young characters in slightly different settings (CA, AZ, NM), but hang together cohesively as a series (J. White series blog). In 282 pages + 2 pages of additional Whitman titles in rear, this is a 1957 FIRST EDITION from Whitman (#1533). Decorative endpapers, frontispiece, & internal tri-tone sketches by Frank Nicholas. Small octavo (5.5" x 7.75") has glossy paper-covered boards with a clear, tissue-thin acetate covering, which is peeling in many places. Condition is VG- (minus): very clean, binding strong with a slight rightward lean, rear hinge starting. Pages heavily tanned, particularly around edges, but supple & unmarked. Mild rubbing to extremities, heavier at all corners & both ends of spine, with some paper loss here. No DJ, as issued.
