The North eastern part of India comprising eight states is characterised by its ethnic linguistic literary and cultural diversity. The poets of the region who write in English mostly hail from multifarious ethnic groups. Their poetry is rich in dilating the aspects of the ecology myths rituals mysteries mysterious faiths and demographic traits.
