This book is part of a thirty-six-volume biographical series titled, English Men of Letters, which was edited by John Morley and written by different authors. This book is no. 31 of 36 in the series. There is one page in the front that lists all books in the series that had been released to date. Biography of Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), a British author, historian, and politician. He was a member of the Whig Party and served as Secretary at War between 1839 and 1841 and Paymaster-General from 1846-1848.
