The following research will illustrate similarities, differences, and points of disagreement, while thoroughly investigating possible hypotheses to understanding why the articles were amended, altered, or removed entirely within all three constitutions. The paper is divided into three parts; part one will elaborate on the events that preceded the establishment of a constitution by the Egyptian Government. Part two will investigate the articles within the 1971 and the 2012 constitutions and compare them to the articles of the 2013 constitution. Part three will elaborate and compare each constitution, 1971 and 2012, with the 2013 constitution. Lastly, this paper will conclude by giving a brief summary of what has been discussed in the paper and provide some recommendations to what should be amended in the latest constitution, 2013 and the institutions to make the constitution stronger and more durable.…

Such relationships have encouraged the view that the oppression of women is the cornerstone of such systems and that their liberation is an essential condition for overcoming it. My question for this paper is: What is the relationship between patriarchy and women's marginalization and absence in the political sphere In this paper I will discuss how women are marginalized and silenced by force rather than by choice. To further elaborate on that it must be clear that women, especially in the Middle East, are constrained by different types of patriarchy. They are restrained from growing and aspiring to change power relations by the legal system, by the social conventions and the unequal power relations between male and female, and lastly by externalities that constructed the polity of the region. In order to further carry out this research paper, I will use a Marxist feminist theoretical framework to analyze the issue of women's marginalization in the Middle East.…

Domestic politics constitute a wide range of subfields under which one can see education, businesses, energy, health care and other sectors of the political apparatus which are determined by the state apparatus. Different regime types approach domestic politics differently and consequentially also have different forms in which they execute foreign policy and behave internationally. The question proposed is meant to assess the extent to which domestic politics affect inter-state cooperation, i.e. to which extent does it matter whether the domestic regime is democratic, autocratic, or fascist regimes affect how the state formulates its foreign policy and engages in agreements with other states.International cooperation is not a new phenomenon, yet it has been heavily understudied throughout the first and second world wars and only gained importance in the cold war period, where cooperation and alliance formations with the increasing number of newly independent states and the bipolar atmosphere of the global arena advocated for the importance of cooperation between states. This research is of importance because the ever-changing atmosphere of global shocks, ranging from security issues to civil wars and internal instability, have all affected how states behave internationally.This study, however, will focus on how inter-state cooperation is independent from domestic regime structures and is rather driven by the Gross National Product (GNP) i.e. the financial strength of the country and Human Development Index (HDI) ranking of the state. The study is expected to unravel the importance of the financial capabilities to increase inter-state cooperation in the lack of an overarching global governance system. Different theoretical frameworks have approached the issue of regime types and their effects on international cooperation differently. This will be discussed in the literature review and the theoretical arguments sections.…

This work discusses the history of the ICC, its structure, funding, jurisdiction, and the relationship between the ICC and the Security Council.Furthermore, the author debates whether there is a possible influential relationship between the ICC and global political economy. Moreover, a closer investigation into the work of the ICC, in the cases of Sudan and Libya, will follow and how it might relate to global political economy. Lastly, this work will discuss some reforms that would enhance the ICC and highlight its weaknesses. The author especially focuses on Articles 13 and 16 of the Rome Statute and tries to answer how they could be used as tools by global hegemons to control the ICC.…
