Through his dedication, commitment, academic excellence and administrative acumen he has now reached one of the top positions of academic administration in a central university of India. Finally he decided to pen the stages of his growth, diverse experience and mention all the people who, in one form or another, helped to shape his career. Each and every person he met, whether students, research scholars, colleagues, family, friends, superiors and even the interactions with delegates in seminar and conferences have helped to shape his thinking process which he has tried to portray in the eight sections of this autobiography. He also dwelt on the challenges of teaching of a dreary subject like economics among the first generation graduate and post graduate students. He also analysed the opportunities and challenges of researches in social sciences in the State of Arunachal Pradesh due to non-availability of socio-economic data and the way forward for meeting these challenges.
