Eins verbindet sie: Der Oberbegriff Krebs ist auch heute noch wie kein anderer mit Angst, Hilflosigkeit und Verzweiflung verknüpft.Jährlich erkranken ca. 1800 Kinder, bei einer Bevölkerungszahl von 13 Millionen unter 15-Jährigen, an Krebs. Es ergibt sich eine Anzahl der Neuerkrankungen von 14 pro 100.000 Kinder.Die häufigsten Krankheitsbilder bei Kindern sind Leukämie, das Blutkrebs, die Zentrale Nervensystem-Tumore, somit Gehirn und Rückenmark, und Lymphome, Lymphknotenkrebs (vgl.
