Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: new. Hardcover. It is with great joy that we present to you this beautiful book, entitled "House of God - Gate of Heaven," to celebrate the successful construction of our beautiful new St. Paul's Catholic Church, in Hague, Virginia. Each new church is a manifestation of the faith of those who sacrificed and labored to establish that church. Our former church building, located less than one mile from our new church property was built in 1890, by a group of Austro-Hungarian tomato farmers who worshipped there. After years of service, a major termite infestation caused the original church to be taken down in 1982. The new church, built as a 21st century version of our old church, took exactly 40 years to design, fund and construct. The new church building was successfully built thanks to hundreds of generous parishioners and friends, and the many people who labored long and hard on our Building, Real Estate, Fundraising, and Finance Committee over the past four decades. It is a genuine honor and privilege for us to have been able to build up the Kingdom of God on Earth in such a visible way. The theme which we chose for building our brand new parish, from the ground up, has been "Honoring the Past and Building the Future," which nicely summarizes our goals in this endeavor, and reminds us all that we are part of a living past of faith, from the time of Christ to the present, which unites us all on our journey back to God the Father in Heaven. We give thanks to the Lord our God for giving us the inspiration and strength to construct such a marvelous edi ce in His honor! May God bless you all, and all future generations who bene t from having such a beautiful church in which to worship! This item is printed on demand.
