Hardcover. Condición: Fair. A complete set (12 volumes in 6 books) of Shakespeare's dramatic works in German. Each book is half-leather with marbled covers. The endpapers are also marbled. Titles appear along the spine. With the exception of volumes 3, 9 and 11, the books' spines have gilt (gold) decorative patterning. Comments about condition now follow. The plays, King Lear and Hamlet, have a lot of pencil underlining and marking (image). Publication dates are as listed i.e. as 1872 except for vol. 1: 1871 and vol. 11: 1873. 110 x 165 mm.
