The book is in excellent condition but has old owner name penned in big black lettering on bottom of text block, several pages with yellow highlighting (see photo for worst case), owner name again penned in big black lettering on bottom of page 69 (in margin), solid binding, clean pages other than the highlighting, no tears, no foxing, complete with all pages and diagrams and photos. For many years this was the definitive guidebook to Yosemite and is still very useful. This edition is greatly expanded from the 1982 standard classic edition. The very first edition (not dated but published in 1976, now very scarce) was a simple collection of route topos clipped together with a couple of metal rings.
