Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. 2019 OUP hardcover edition. Light reading wear else very good condition. Institutions - the structures, practices, and meanings that define what people and organizations think, do, and aspire to - are created through process. They are 'work in progress' that involves continual efforts to maintain, modify, or disturb them. Institutional logics are also in motion, holding varying degrees of dominance that change over time. This volume brings together two streams of thought within organization theory - institutional theory and process perspective - to advocate for stronger process ontology that highlights institutions as emergent, generative, political, and social. A stronger process view allows us to challenge our understanding of central concepts within institutional theory, such as 'loose coupling', 'institutional work', the work of institutional logics on the ground, and institutionalization between diffusion and translation. Enriched with an emphasis on practice and widened by taking a broad view of institutions, this volume draws on the Ninth International Symposium on Process Organization Studies to offer key insights that will inform our thinking of institutions as processes. Contents: 1. Introduction: Institutions and Organizations: A Process View - Trish Reay, Tammar B. Zilber, Ann Langley, and Haridimos Tsoukas 2. Working Institutions - Stephen R. Barley 3. A Processual View on Institutions: A Note from a Phenomenological Institutional Perspective - Renate E. Meyer 4. On Doing Institutional Analysis without Institutional Theory - Tim Hallett 5. Stories of (and Instead of) Process - Francesca Polletta 6. Processes, Life, and the Practice Plenum - Theodore R. Schatzki 7. Bringing Process into Structure: Combining Network Analyses with Process Lenses to Explore Field-Level Evolution and Changes - Amalya L. Oliver 8. The Interpretation of Design-Based Cues: A Processual Approach - Micki Eisenman, Michal Frenkel, and Varda Wasserman 9. The Long Walk to Aleppo: Institutional Myths, Inhabited Institutions, and Ideals in the Real World - Mark de Rond and Tim Hallett 10. The Discourse of Risk and Processes of Institutional Change: The Case of Green Chemistry - Steve Maguire and Cynthia Hardy 11. Making and Regulating Business Judgment: Judicial Practice, Logics, and Orders - Terry McNulty and Abigail Stewart 12. Systematic Heterogeneity in the Adaptation Process of Management Innovations: Insights from the Italian Public Sector - Davide Nicolini, Andrea Lippi, and Pedro Monteiro 13. Añadir al carritoMagazine. Condición: Very Good. First Edition. 40pp. Newsprint [43cm x 27.5cm / 17" x 11"]. Ten bifolia (sheets folded vertically once to form forty pages). Age toned throughout. Occasional light creasing, fore-edges lightly bumped. Small ink stamped address on the rear cover page, for mailing, reads: "Library for Social and Technological Alternatives | Box 472 | Fairfax, CA 94930." Earth First! is a group of radical environmentalists that formed in the American Southwest in the spring of 1980, founded by Dave Foreman, Mike Roselle, Howie Wolke, Bart Koehler, and Ron Kezar, among others. Earth First! quickly came to national attention with their "cracking" of Glen Canyon Dam activist stunt, which was performed and filmed in the spring of 1981. Edward Abbey is considered to be the "literary father" of the group. "Earth First! is the beginning of the new, bold environmental movement. And 'Earth First! The Radical Environmental Journal' is its voice" (Dave Foreman, Editor). Rear cover half-page illustration by Lone Wolf Circles dated '88 is untitled and depicts a ranch hand herding a large group of branded cattle in front of mountain peaks, above which shows, in a dreamy puff of clouds, some of the much wilder and disappearing Western animals: a buffalo, a wolf, a fox, a wolverine. Cover story by Howie Woke is entitled "Stop the Forest Service!" Cover illustration entitled "The Forest Service Cometh" by Christoph Manes depicts the grim reaper scything down a patch of old-growth forest. David Gaines (1947-1988) obituary printed on page 3. Full-page ad "EF! Local Groups Merchandise" with "Usual Disgusting Plea for Money" on page 15. Curious article on page 25 entitled "Deep Ecology and Magic: Notes of a Sleight-of-hand Sorcerer" by David Abram ("David Abram, in addition to being a spell-binding magician, is a philosophy teacher at SUNY"). Edward Abbey's review of Wendell Berry's work "Home Economics" is printed on page 32. Wendell Berry's "My Answer to Edward Abbey" follows on page 33. Other credited Earth First! staff for this issue include: John Davis (Managing Editor), Kris Sommerville (Business Manager), Charles Conner (Shipping & Mailing), Helen Wilson (Cartography), Mike Roselle (Roving Editor), David Cross (Roving Editor), Roger Featherstone (Roving Editor), Art Goodtimes (Poetry Editor), Christoph Manes (Associate Editor), and Tucson Earth First! Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Eating is one of life's great pleasures and I want you to enjoy eating every time you eat. Hunger is the body's way of telling us we need food and this is a critical protection function of our natural system. You will never go hungry using my specially designed and developed techniques. My weight management technique uses every thing and every technique I have found to work and uses none of the fads or deprivation diets we all know do not work. I teach you a pain free, craving free, deprivation free, hunger free, surgery free, drug free, supplement free, anxiety free, easy to understand and easy to follow set of guidelines that, if followed reasonably closely (yes, you are allowed to lapse occasionally), will help you manage your weight successfully. It is important to state at the start that this is not a diet, diets do not work. This is also not strict or demanding and doesn't require lots of willpower or memory. My weight management system is based on the causes and reasons why we eat when we are not hungry and shows you easy ways to eliminate the anxiety and associated cravings. It allows you to set the pace and set the results. It is the only system I know of that puts you in total control of your weight. Why is it revolutionary Because it takes all the things we have known for centuries e.g. eat when you are hungry, chew your food well, stop when you are full etc and then adds the easy to use and powerful 21st Century therapy for addictions and cravings (Thought Field Therapy), created and developed by Dr Roger Callahan. I have lost and kept off 42 pounds living life to the full and you can too.…
