Original bradbound 118 page first draft shooting script, dated December 18, 1967, for the film The Star Spangled Girl, screenplay by Maurice Richlin and Allan Weiss, based on the play by Neil Simon. The film was eventually released in 1971, rewritten by Arnold Margolin and Jim Parker, and directed by Jerry Paris, starring Sandy Duncan, Tony Roberts, and Todd Susman. In the film, the lead characterÕs name was changed from Sophie to Amy and is played by Sandy Duncan, who received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Motion Picture Actress - Musical / Comedy for the part. Very good copy with some minor edge wear and and use in printed covers.
