Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the concept of the Logos, a term with deep roots in both theology and philosophy. The author explores the Logos's multifaceted nature, tracing its evolution from ancient Hebrew understandings to its interpretation in the New Testament, particularly within the Gospel of John. The book contrasts the Hebrew concept of the Logos as God's direct communication and manifestation, often through angelic intermediaries, with the Platonic notion of a separate divine entity. The author argues that early Christian theologians, influenced by Platonic thought, misinterpreted the Logos as a distinct hypostasis within the Godhead, leading to the doctrine of the Trinity. By examining the writings of early Christian thinkers such as Irenaeus, Tertullian, and Clement of Alexandria, the book sheds light on the historical development of the Logos concept and its impact on Christian theology. The author contends that understanding the Logos as God's self-revelation and communication, rather than a separate divine being, provides a more accurate and biblically consistent interpretation. Ultimately, this book challenges traditional views on the Logos and offers a fresh perspective on its significance within the broader context of theological and philosophical thought. The author's insights invite readers to re-evaluate their understanding of God's communication and interaction with humanity. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
