Despite condition factors, the book remains well bound and presentable. Please see photos. An impressive roster of poets, ranging from antiquity and public domain to Edward Lear (natch), Olver Herford, Edith Sitwell, Shakespeare, Ogden Nash, Don Marquis, Pablo Neruda, and many more. Reinganum's typographical dust jacket design, mixing font styles, anticipates that post-WWII trend. However, his pithy drawings throughout the text are the real delight, art-deco gems that evoke Hirschfield. Or is it the other way around? Dust jacket is now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
