On June 14, 2017, Liesbeth Lijnzaad was elected as Judge in the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, the first Dutch member of the Tribunal. This volume pays tribute to Liesbeth Lijnzaad's contribution to the development of international law to date as a scholar.
