There is a four inch closed tear along the spine next to the back cover which also has a small closed tear to the top edge. Slight chipping to the top and bottom of the spine. Pages browned with creases to the top corners of three pages. Cover illustration by Robert Gibson Jones and interior illustrations by Ruth, Summers and Lawrence.

Mamie was prominently featured in most of the ad campaigns, and the soundtrack includes early rockers Bill Haley and the Comets. Based on Benson's "The Girl in the Cage." 7.75 x 10 inches, double weight. Very Good, light curl, tiny creases, light dampstain to one edge, small bruise to verso.
