Vintage full-color British front-of-house card from the UK release of the 1951 US film. In 1858 France, Emperor Napoleon sends military officers to Normandy in search of a group of rebels. They encounter a masked cavalier and his companions, including an heiress to the fabled treasure of Monte Cristo. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with pinholes at the corners.

Copy belonging to director William Rowland, with his name in manuscript ink on the front wrapper and two revision pages, and his annotations in manuscript ink throughout, noting deletions, scene locations, and revisions to dialogue. A psychiatrist details her most outlandish cases, largely involving her teenage patients and their experiences with drugs, sex, and politics, culminating in her attempt to help her own daughter. Rowland's final directorial effort. Set and shot on location in Los Angeles. Yellow titled wrappers. 120 leaves, with last page of text numbered 117. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with blue and white revision pages throughout, dated variously between 6/26/68 and 7/3/68. Vintage oversize borderless reference photograph from the 1948 film, showing actors Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews. Based on the real experiences of Ivor Gouzenko, a Communist code-breaker assigned to the Soviet Embassy in wartime Canada who defected from the USSR after the war. Subject to controversy upon release, with liberals protesting the film's depiction of the Soviet cause, and conservatives protesting the liberal picketers. Set and shot on location in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. 10 x 12.75 inches. Very Good, lightly creased to the edges.

Kroeger was an actor on radio who specialized in heavies, and then made the leap to films in 1948. He is perhaps best known as Packett in the cult classic "Gun Crazy".
