Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Light tanning to spine and edges. Book is slightly forward leaning.

Hard Covers. Lemon coloured cloth boards with brown lettering to upper board and spine. Clean contents but there is a small pastedown with a monochrome geometric pattern (may be from a previous owner). Some minor spotting to the fore edge. Very slight softening to the spine ends. Overall near fine. Dust wrapper has some wear; it is clipped and there is a 1in chip to the front. Spine ends are both frayed and torn. There is some shelf wear along the top and the white rear portion of the wrapper is a little soiled. A comprehensive handbook on the craft of fiction writing. An essentially practical and refreshingly outspoken book.
