While the jacket is bright in protective mylar sleeve, it is in about 'good plus' condition with several tears, chips along edges -- some tape-repaired -- and creasing along inside flap. The binding is solid, but is still an older, slightly fragile book. Very nice. ct.

Scholars such as Cecile Laly cite the book as a valuable primary source for understanding regional kite forms and techniques, situating it within the broader mingei-influenced effort of the 1960s-70s to record and preserve traditional crafts.
