Of course there awaits much applause for his act of imagination which is bound to touch some hearts. Whether anyone assaying poems succeeds in evoking response from an individual here or a larger mass of readership there is in the lap of the Gods. The poet's best bet is not to think of the matter at all and only to single mindedly hear the mill of his mind and translate them into a brisk action forming thoughts and then words in clarity. If you as poet are content with this you are sufficiently rewarded. If any further manna falls your way take it with a wry smile and thankfulness. Mr Kar has all ingredients of every human in him in his inner life which may be alchemy into art. Perhaps he has done so already in this ample volume of verse. But this matter each reader has to decide for himself/herself as for me there is but to wish him much luck in his earnest endeavours. 102 pp.
