Student and faculty participants in this program, many of them from disciplines not connected with problems of economic and agricultural development, were regular members of the audience and enthusiastic participants in the discussions at symposium sessions. One of the special seminars held twice weekly throughout the term as a part of the South Asia Summer Program dealt with Problems of Rural Development in India and Pakistan. This seminar, under the chairmanship of Professor Harry M. He isn't as well-known as Ed Ruscha (although he deserves to be). Like Ruscha, he makes his own Artist Books from scratch: From concept to image to design to full realization.
