The book contains several views of the local hotel, the Wigwam Inn, and an ad at the end for the Harbour Navigation Company Limited, Vancouver, BC. The text tells the sad tale of a Scottish man who travels to Canada and is injured in the Rockies, his fortuitous rescue by local natives, and his eventual demise.
