Dust jacket is tattered, with a large open tear top spine, numerous small tears, edgewear, but still intact, now wrapped in protective clear cover. Jan Lukas Kracker (1717-1779) was a renowned Austrian-Czech painter of the late Baroque period, specializing in ceiling and wall frescoes, as well as altarpieces. His work can be found in various churches and monasteries throughout Central Europe.
