The objective is to understand the process of socio-spatial segregati…on in the perception of the residents of the Recanto Universitário housing complex in Imperatriz (MA) and its relations with the contemporary housing policy. This is located in the Vila Fiquene neighborhood and has a police station, a municipal school, a Social Assistance Reference Center, a multi-sports court and a health clinic. The theoretical basis discusses the urban phenomenon, socio-spatial segregation and housing policies. In the methodological one opted for the historical and dialectical Materialism method, and case study, with a quali-quantitative approach. Besides, it was used bibliographic bases from IBGE, DIREI and IMESC to exemplify materializations that were identified in the locality of study. As results, it is inferred that the reality found in the Housing Estate is at opposite ends of what is oriented by the National Housing Policy. The satisfaction in acquiring a home of their own and the dissatisfaction with the services provided by the government stand out. 72 pp. Englisch.

La base théorique aborde le phénomène urbain, la ségrégation socio-spatiale et les politiques de logement. Dans la méthodologie, on a opté pour la méthode du matérialisme historique et dialectique, et l'étude de cas, avec une approche quali-quantitative. In der theoretischen Grundlage werden das städtische Phänomen, die sozialräumliche Segregation und die Wohnungspolitik erörtert. In der methodischen entschied sich für die historische und dialektische Materialismus-Methode, und Fallstudie, mit einem qualitativ-quantitativen Ansatz. Darüber hinaus wurden bibliografische Datenbanken von IBGE, DIREI und IMESC verwendet, um Materialisierungen zu veranschaulichen, die in der Region der Studie identifiziert wurden. L'objectif est de comprendre le processus de ség…régation socio-spatiale dans la perception des résidents du complexe de logements Recanto Universitário à Imperatriz (MA) et ses relations avec la politique de logement contemporaine. Celui-ci est situé dans le quartier de Vila Fiquene et dispose d'un poste de police, d'une école municipale, d'un centre de référence d'assistance sociale, d'un terrain multisports et d'un centre de santé. La base théorique aborde le phénomène urbain, la ségrégation socio-spatiale et les politiques de logement. Dans la méthodologie, on a opté pour la méthode du matérialisme historique et dialectique, et l'étude de cas, avec une approche quali-quantitative. En outre, on a utilisé les bases bibliographiques de l'IBGE, de la DIREI et de l'IMESC pour exemplifier les matérialisations qui ont été identifiées dans la localité de l'étude. Il en résulte que la réalité du logement est aux antipodes de ce qui est prévu par la politique nationale du logement. La satisfaction d'acquérir son propre logement et l'insatisfaction à l'égard des services fournis par les pouvoirs publics ressortent.
