Connett was quoted as saying that American Trout Streams was 'the first book to be published by Derrydale,' though it does not bear the imprint of Connett's famous press." -- ( A Century With the Anglers' Club, 2006). It goes on to say, "This book is scientific in nature, and many of its tenets, espoused in 1926, hold true today." This copy is in good condition with mottling to the cloth covered spine. The spine is darkened with light chipping to the label, not affecting text. There is a bookplate from the American Museum of Natural History Library with inked cancellation notice on the front pastedown. Occasional chipped page edge, otherwise, a decent copy of a hard-to-find title.
