The completed form was probably returned to William Michael Rossetti, the secretary of the exhibition, who used the verso to make a list of artists, the number of works, and mediums. A total number of 111 artist names were written to this list. - The American Exhibition of British Art was organized by Captain Augustus A. Ruxton.
