This offering is a vintage copy of Bobby Orr - Lightning on Ice written by Howard Liss and illustrated by Victor Mays with some three-color illustrations and several older black-and white photographs. The book was published by Garrard Publishing Company in 1975 and appears to be a First Edition but is not specifically stated as such. It is NOT an ex-library copy and is in very good condition but has no dust jacket., (A previous owner HAS inscribed a note on the flip side of the front loose end page . . . apparently this was once a birthday present to Ryan who turned eleven in 1992.) It's 6 5/8" by 9 1/4" and has 90 pages with a Table of Contents - larger print - and the fore-mentioned black-and-white photographs and illustrations. What a perfect gift for a younger Boston Bruin fan or hockey player! Thank you!
