Über den Autor Hitoshi Takeda machte sich 1990 selbstständig und gründete das SPS-Managment-Consulting-Büro. Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit ist u. a. die Entwicklung intelligenter Automatisierungssysteme. Takeda ist als Lean Guru bekannt. Seine rauhen Methoden wirken im Westen manchmal befremdlich. Inhaltlich bewegt er sich jedoch auf höchstem Niveau. Seine Vorschläge mit denen man im Zehntel-Sekunden-Bereich optimiert, sprechen in diesem Buch hauptsächlich Lean Experten an. Nur wer bereits einige Jahre erfolgreich KAIZEN Workshops durchgeführt hat, wird die Ansätze wirklich verstehen und einen Mehrwert für sich generieren.
