First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original red cloth with black lettering to the spine and black trim to the upper board, in the dustwrapper with typo to the title ('The Tunnel Of Doom'). A better than very good copy, the cloth bright and clean, the spine tips and outer corners a little softened. The contents with a previous owner's bookplate and shelf stamp to the front pastedown, and his ownership inscription and acquisition date at the head of the title page, are otherwise clean throughout. The dustwrapper is rubbed and creased, with nicks and short tears to upper and lower spine, and to the outer corners of the upper panel (where the rubbing and creasing has resulted in minor loss). The spine and rear panel are a little scuffed and dusty, the lettering to the spine slightly smudged. Priced 3/6 net to the spine. Published two years earlier by Chelsea House (New York). (Hubin). Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request. All items are catalogued by humans. Lucius Books welcomes direct contact with our customers.
